Judge denies feds' motion to dismiss Just the News suit for Russia collusion records

A federal judge has denied a motion by the Department of Justice and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to dismiss a suit filed by Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon seeking to obtain records related to the FBI's investigation of alleged Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.

"Upon consideration of [10] Defendants' Motion to Dismiss, it is hereby ORDERED that the motion is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE as duplicative of the issues and arguments raised in the parties' cross-motions for summary judgment," wrote U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon on March 29. "The Court will address all such issues and arguments together, including the Government's jurisdictional grounds for dismissal, in a future order resolving the summary judgment motions."

The Justice Department urged House Republicans to “avoid conflict” in a brewing battle after they threatened the possibility of contempt proceedings in their efforts to gain information on special counsel Robert Hur’s probe of President Biden’s handling of classified records.

The Monday letter from the Justice Department’s head of legislative affairs asserts the House’s Oversight and Judiciary committees received the information they requested when they asked for transcripts of Hur’s interview with Biden, as well as a recording of the conversation. For the first time ever, the National Guard conducted an exercise simulating a frantic search for a nuclear dirty bomb at a basketball and hockey arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

What made the exercise different from hundreds of such similar war games held since 9/11 is that purely domestic terrorists were identified as the perpetrators.

By pointing the finger at a “domestic terrorist group” — that is, Americans — the U.S. military outpaces not just Hollywood, but also the facts.

Though the FBI says in its fiscal year 2025 budget request to Congress that during 2023, its Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate “disrupted 42 incidents; made 62 arrests; and had 43 indictments, 56 sentencings and 56 convictions,” none involved actual nuclear materials or such a dirty bomb. There’s no evidence that any domestic terrorist group has ever been well-resourced enough to construct a nuclear dirty bomb. But that hasn’t stopped Washington from building on January 6 to feed its current domestic extremism obsession and fearmongering about it.

Cameron was due to sit down with the current Republican frontrunner at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, the Sun reported.

🤪The Illinois village of Dolton has voted in favor of a resolution to hire ex-Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to investigate its own leader, Tiffany Henyard, who is accused of misusing taxpayer funds and various other corrupt practices.

Lightfoot, who lost her reelection bid in a landslide last year, said she was “honored” to be tasked with the investigation of Henyard — Dolton’s self-proclaimed “Super Mayor.”

“As someone who has made good governance the cornerstone of my career in public service, I recognize that maintaining the trust of those you serve and making decisions in their best interests is essential,” Lightfoot said in a statement on Monday evening.
