Feds rip Hunter Biden over โstuntโ appeal โto delayโ California tax fraud trial
Federal prosecutors in first son Hunter Bidenโs California tax fraud case have accused him of pulling โa stunt to delay his trialโ by making a frivolous appeal, new court papers show.
President Bidenโs surviving son, 54, is attempting to appeal his lost bid to toss the case accusing him of failing to pay at least $1.4 million in federal income taxes for the years 2016 through 2019.
Prosecutors in special counsel David Weissโ office said in papers filed in Los Angeles federal court Tuesday that the first son improperly filed the notice of appeal as a โstuntโ in order to push back his June 20 trial date.
The younger Biden has โdecided, unilaterally, that he can ignore the schedule set by the court,โ the feds charge.

"The material that came in was not relevant to this criminal case at all. I think it shows she was trying to get Trump. I actually thought there was a motive there. She said she 'hates him'. She said she'd 'like to see him in prison'. I think she was purposely throwing out this stuff to make sure the jury/jurors were prejudice. Particularly the women jurors, but probably half of the men too. Really put off."

Sens. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) and Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) hosted the bipartisan Congressional Chess Tournament on Wednesday. As part of the event at the Russell Senate Office building, members of Congress were invited to show off their best moves against chess students and members of Missouriโs Saint Louis Chess Club.
St. Louis was named the chess capital of the country by the Senate in 2014.

BREAKINGโ๏ธ: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) moved to force a vote on ousting Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Wednesday, a momentous move that is all but certain to fail amid opposition from Democrats and conservative Republicans.
Greene โ who filed her motion to vacate against Johnson more than a month ago โ called her resolution to the floor as privileged on Wednesday, forcing GOP leadership to move on the measure within two legislative days.
Republicans are likely to move to table Greeneโs resolution, which would kill it. A majority vote would be needed to do so.
Greene is using the same tool used to remove Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) last fall.

The state party also selected other Trump children as delegates, including Eric Trump as its delegation chair โ meaning heโll place his fatherโs name in for the nomination โ and Donald Trump Jr. and Tiffany Boulos, formerly Trump, and her husband Michael Boulos as other at-large delegates.
