LOUISIANA LAWMAKERS APPROVE BILL ALLOWING SURGICAL CASTRATION FOR CHILD PREDATORS

The bill received final approval from lawmakers Monday ... and is now heading to the desk of Governor Jeff Landry, who will make the final decision on whether it becomes a law.

The proposed law would allow judges to sentence surgical castration, as well as prison time, to someone convicted of aggravated sex crimes -- rape, incest, molestation, etc. -- against a minor under the age of 13.

In the online space, about President Trump’s response to the verdict, Rumble has surged ahead of its censored competitor YouTube over the weekend, as streamers on the platform easily secured all top five spots for live streams in the US during a press conference held by President Trump about his guilty verdict. YouTube was nowhere to be seen in the top 5 streams.

This milestone was celebrated by Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski, who shared the news on X. Pavlovski proudly announced, “Earlier today Rumble dethroned YouTube from being in the top 5 livestreams. We wiped the floor clean and took all 5 spots ourselves. Best part, we’re only getting started.”

Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) on Monday announced the unsealing of an indictment charging Weidong Guan, a/k/a “Bill Guan,” the Chief Financial Officer of conservative media company The Epoch Times with participating in a $67 million transnational money laundering scheme.

Bill Guan, 61, of Secaucus, New Jersey, is facing up to 80 years in prison.

He was charged with one count of conspiring to commit money laundering, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and two counts of bank fraud, each of which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.

Bill Guan was arrested on Sunday morning and appeared before a magistrate judge on Monday afternoon.

The House swore in its newest member on Monday, bringing the Republican conference back to 218 members and giving Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) a bit more breathing room as he navigates his legislative agenda with a historically small majority. 

Rep. Vince Fong (R-CA) was sworn into office after lawmakers completed their first votes of the week, bringing the House back to 431 members for the first time since mid-March. With Fong’s presence, the GOP’s slim majority increases from one vote to two, giving the party some more leeway as they look to advance key spending measures over the summer.

The plans are said to include contingencies in case of Russian bombardment, letting troops sweep into the Balkans via corridors in Italy, Greece and Turkey, or towards Russia's northern border via Scandinavia, officials told The Telegraph.
