๐Ÿ”ฅElon Muskโ€™s X requests Supreme Court investigate how Jack Smith obtained Trumpโ€™s social media files

A year after federal courts forced the company formerly known as Twitter to hand over data to special counsel Jack Smith pertaining to former President Donald Trumpโ€™s account, the company is asking the Supreme Court to prevent a similar reoccurrence.

X Corp. is asking the justices whether social media platforms can be forced to share data about their users with the government while being disabled from informing those users about the requests.

The company shared information when Smith asked for Trumpโ€™s social media account data without the latterโ€™s knowledge. X, owned by Elon Musk, tried to delay Smith from obtaining the data initially, but its bid failed.

The federal judge presiding over that case wondered whether the company was trying to โ€œcozy upโ€ to the former president โ€” allegations that Musk has faced before. Musk recently used similar Trump-supporting rhetoric as many Republicans, insinuating his felony conviction in his New York trial was โ€œmotivated by politics.โ€

Trumpโ€™s Secret Service driver wanted to quickly refute Cassidy Hutchinsonโ€™s J6 tale but was rebuffed

House investigators have obtained evidence showing that former President Donald Trumpโ€™s Secret Service driver wanted to quickly refute testimony from Cassidy Hutchinson alleging a struggle in the presidential limousine during the Capitol riots but the Democrat-led January 6 committee rebuffed him for months.

The evidence was confirmed to Just the News both by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, the chairman of the House subcommittee that is investigating the Jan. 6 tragedy now for Republicans, and a transcript of the driverโ€™s interview that was conducted months after he first offered to testify.

Loudermilk on Tuesday evening decried the delay by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee, saying it kept Americans in the dark for months ahead of the 2022 midterm elections that there was firsthand testimony refuting Hutchinsonโ€™s sensational hearsay narrative that Trump tried to violently commandeer his Secret Service limousine on Jan. 6, 2021, to take it to the Capitol.

President Joe Biden is having trouble focusing on work because he is obsessing and worrying about his sonโ€™s gun trial in Delaware, a report by Politico claims.

The White House claimed twice Joe Biden will not pardon Hunter if found guilty in his gun or tax cases.

Joe Biden, who is in France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, is closely following Hunter Bidenโ€™s trial, which Politico characterized as a โ€œdistraction,โ€ according to three people familiar with his conversations.

President Donald Trump will attend a private meeting with one of the most powerful business lobbying groups in Washington as he tries to craft an alliance with major corporate leaders.

Joshua Bolten, the CEO of the Business Roundtable, confirmed in an email to members on Wednesday that Trump will be at the groupโ€™s plenary meeting in Washington on June 13. Though President Joe Biden was invited, he cannot attend due to overseas travel for a G7 meeting. The business group instead asked White House chief of staff Jeff Zients to come, according to Boltenโ€™s email. Zients accepted the invitation last week and plans to address the group on June 13, according to a person familiar with his plans.

The meeting is off the record and closed to the press, Bolten wrote in his message, which said that Trumpโ€™s team confirmed to the group that the former president will be at the gathering. A spokesperson for the Trump campaign declined to comment. The Business Roundtable did not return requests for comment.

We Are Referring Hunter and James Biden for Criminal Prosecution

Our Committee, along with House Judiciary GOP and Ways and Means, GOP today sent criminal referrals to the DOJ recommending Hunter and James Biden be charged with making false statements to Congress about key aspects of the impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden.

These false statements implicate Joe Bidenโ€™s knowledge of and role in his familyโ€™s influence peddling schemes and appear to be a calculated effort to shield Joe Biden from the impeachment inquiry.
