Exclusive: Truth Social vows to punish short sellers, says streaming service 'moving forward'

Truth Social is confident about its future after going public earlier this year, telling Just the News that its streaming service is moving forward, and that it is actively working to stop people from illegally short selling its stock.

Truth Social, owned by Trump Media & Technology Group, told Just the News in a statement that its social media platform is a "beachhead that will be supported by streaming." 

The company, which is majority-owned by former President Donald Trump, is planning on hosting documentaries, shows and television networks that are at risk of being canceled due to biases within the entertainment industry, the company said.

The judge overseeing Donald Trump's classified documents case is set to take the "unusual" step of hearing arguments on whether Special Counsel Jack Smith should be removed from the prosecution from those not connected to the proceedings, a legal expert has said.

Former federal prosecutor Joyce Vance made the remark about Judge Aileen Cannon while writing in her blog about upcoming legal proceedings involving the former president and his allies.

On Friday June 21, Cannon will hear arguments from several people not involved in the federal case, who will claim that Smith was unlawfully appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland as this was not first approved by the Senate.

The rare move to hear from outside parties was previously criticized by legal experts. Cannon has put the federal classified documents trial on indefinite hold while she rules on a number of hearings and motions to dismiss connected the case.

The Supreme Court should address former President Donald Trump’s recent conviction in New York, according to Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL).

The Florida lawmaker told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday that the high court should “step in” after Trump was convicted by a Manhattan jury of 34 counts of falsifying business records.

“The only ability for this to be overturned is going to be happening two or three years from now. We all know this,” Donalds said. “That’s why what happened in lower Manhattan was to interfere with an election, which is why Speaker Johnson, myself included, and many Americans believe the Supreme Court should step in to this matter.”

EXCLUSIVE: Former Secretary of State John Kerry used a pseudonymous government email address while serving as the nation’s top diplomat during the Obama administration, whistleblowers told Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson.

Fox News Digital obtained a letter Grassley, R-Iowa, and Johnson, R-Wis., sent to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, demanding answers on whether Kerry properly complied with federal records law as secretary of state.

Whistleblowers told Grassley and Johnson that Kerry used the email address "SESTravel11@state.gov" while serving in his official capacity.

"We want to know whether then-Secretary Kerry properly complied with all federal records laws and regulations with respect to his official email communications and whether responses to relevant Freedom of Information Act requests have properly included that email address in productions to requestors," they wrote.

Bankruptcy judge weighs stripping Giuliani’s control of his finances

Rudy Giuliani’s creditors attempted to persuade a bankruptcy judge to appoint a trustee to take control of the former New York City mayor’s finances Monday.

Following more than two hours of arguments, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane made no ruling on the creditors’ request but expressed worry about multiple aspects of the case, including financial reporting issues and Giuliani’s struggle to keep an active bookkeeper and accountant.
