Taiwanese fishermen catch Chinese nuclear submarine surfacing

Taiwan said it “closely monitored” a Chinese nuclear submarine that surfaced in the shallow waters of the Taiwan Strait early Tuesday.

The submarine surprised the crew of a squid boat, which took pictures of the vessel.

The images showed the black hull of a Type 094 submarine, also known as the Jin class, Newsweek reported. The Jin class, six of which are in service, can launch ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads and are sometimes referred to as “boomers.”

Jim Jordan asks DOJ watchdog to investigate whether FBI 'purging' agents with conservative views

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan on Thursday asked the Justice Department's chief watchdog to open an investigation into whether the FBI has been using political litmus tests to push out agents or workers with conservative political views and sent a stark warning to Director Christopher Wray.

"The FBI appears to be purging itself of employees who do not share its preferred political views," Jordan wrote in a letter to Wray after sending a separate letter to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz seeking the inquiry.

Pornhub BANS five more states due to age verification laws - leaving more than 18 million Americans blocked from the X-rated site

More than 18 million Americans living in five states are set to join Pornhub's growing banned list due to lawmakers rolling out age restriction laws.

Kentucky lost access on June 10, while Indiana, Idaho and Kansas will be blocked on June 28th and Nebraska on July 17th.

The move brings the total number of blocked states to 12, which includes Texas, North Carolina, Montana, Mississippi, Virginia, Arkansas and Utah.

Attorneys for President Trump on Thursday demanded that the judge who oversaw his civil fraud trial recuse himself from the case over allegations he improperly discussed it with an outside party.

“Allegations have surfaced revealing this Court may have engaged in actions fundamentally incompatible with the responsibilities attendant to donning the black robe and sitting in judgment,” Trump attorneys Alina Habba and Clifford Robert wrote in a 24-page recusal motion.

On Feb. 16, the day Judge Arthur Engoron handed down his multimillion-dollar judgment against Trump, a high-profile New York real estate lawyer said in an interview with NBC New York that he approached the judge about three weeks earlier to offer unsolicited advice about the case.

At the time, U.S. officials stressed that the policy was limited to the Kharkiv region, among other restrictions.

Ukrainian forces have since used American weapons to strike into Russia at least once, destroying targets in the city of Belgorod, and managed to hold back the Russian assault. But Ukrainian and other European officials have pressed the U.S. to loosen its restrictions even further, allowing Ukraine to strike anywhere inside Russia.

Yeah … see, here’s the thing though - The Nuremberg trials were bullshit.

They were a red herring. They served as a distraction while the real Nazi leaders and scientists were brought over here or sent to South America.

So, while I obviously appreciate influencers supporting the idea of bringing those responsible for Covid to justice - it would behoove them to understand that the first Nuremberg trials were a complete dog and pony show that served no purpose other than to provide cover while the upper echelon escaped, so it’s actually a really poor comparison.

Nathan Wade, a former prosecutor in former President Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case, answered questions about Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis during an appearance on the Daily Show.

Wade was mockingly questioned by “Quon,” played by actor Marlon Wayans, on Tuesday about his relationship with Willis, which led to much controversy earlier this year.

After Wade said Willis was less of a boss to him and “more analogous to a client,” Wayans questioned, “So you served her well?” as the audience laughed.

“I did. I did my job,” Wade responded.

Some social media users bashed Wade for appearing for the interview, which included an instance in which Wayans questioned Wade, “How can you not hit that?” Wade’s response to Wayans’s behavior was often to laugh, as the live audience did. However, the interview would likely have caused insult if not placed in the comedic setting in which it was.
