Anna Paulina Luna to force vote on Garland's arrest this week after DOJ refuses criminal referral

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., is planning to force a vote on directing the House Sergeant-at-Arms to arrest Attorney General Merrick Garland sometime this week.

Luna is sending a letter around to fellow House Republicans on Monday arguing that the Department of Justice (DOJ) undermined Congress by refusing to act on the contempt resolution passed by the GOP majority earlier this month.

Beloved Disney-themed café in the heart of Hollywood is forced to close after 78 years

Photos show the Snow White Café, found at 6769 Hollywood Boulevard next to the Hollywood Wax Museum, entirely gutted, and, from what can be seen, all its iconic 'Snow White' imagery stripped away.

A police operation specialising in Internet crime and based near the port city of Naples reported that the Russian paedophile ring ran an operation to kidnap children from orphanages, circuses and public parks and film them while they were forced to commit sexual acts.

The service was divided into several categories. "SNIPE" was the term given by the ring for videos of children filmed nude without their knowledge.

"CP" was the code word for ordering an item from a paedophile's "private collection."

The most gruesome, police said, was coded "Necros Pedo," in which children were raped and tortured to death.

The ransomware group known as LockBit claimed to have hacked the Federal Reserve Bank and says it will release 33 terabytes of sensitive data on Tuesday

In a post to the dark web this week, the criminal organization alleged that it had been in talks with the bank in order to secure a ransom in exchange for keeping the data private.

“33 terabytes of juicy banking information containing Americans’ banking secrets,” the group wrote. “You better hire another negotiator within 48 hours, and fire this clinical idiot who values Americans’ bank secrecy at $50,000.”

The hearing on the special counsel’s request for a gag order against former President Donald Trump ended Monday without a ruling, but Judge Aileen Cannon had some very pointed questions for prosecutors.

Cannon showed some skepticism toward prosecutors’ arguments, asking where they saw a call to violence in Trump’s comments and saying that they had needed to show some connecting facts between what the former president has said and the threats they are warning about.

The judge repeatedly sparred with prosecutor David Harbach, who she said was being snippy during his arguments.

Cannon quickly stopped Harbach, telling him, “I don’t appreciate your tone.” She added that she would “appreciate decorum at all times” and said, “If you aren’t able to do that, I’m sure one of your colleagues can take up arguing this motion.”
