President of Argentina Javier Milei will travel to the United States on Friday for a weekend trip to participate in the 2024 edition of Allen & Company’s Sun Valley Conference in Idaho.

The trip marks the fifth time Milei has visited the United States since taking office in December. Like all of his previous visits to the U.S., Milei will not meet with President Joe Biden.

The timing of Milei’s visit has prompted some speculation that he would attend the final match of the regional Copa América soccer tournament, in which Argentina is vying for the trophy against Colombia, but La Nación reported that Milei’s presence at the event in Miami is “not planned.”

BREAKING🚨: In a stunning turn of events, the judge in Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter trial dismissed the case Friday, siding with defense attorneys who argued that prosecutors hid evidence about ammunition that may be linked to the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western movie “Rust” in 2021.

“The sanction of dismissal is the only warranted remedy” in the case, said First Judicial District Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer.

Baldwin, 66, sobbed and put his face in his hands as Sommer announced her decision.

The fact that the deep state is only about two seats away from controlling the House, but somehow has failed to find just a couple more people in Congress who they can bribe… is pretty darn interesting IMHO.

That tells me we are already protected.

President Donald Trump’s campaign will host several “angel” families of people killed by illegal immigrants at the Republican National Committee’s convention next week as it seeks to focus voter attention on “Biden migrant crime,” the Washington Examiner has learned.

The RNC convention will feature a “few” families and loved ones of U.S. citizens who were slain by people who were in the country illegally, according to a source familiar with plans.

One such family in attendance will be that of Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old Maryland resident and mother of five who was sexually assaulted and killed last August while on a jog. The suspect, illegal immigrant Victor Martinez-Hernandez of El Salvador, was arrested this month by police in Oklahoma.

Hungary's Viktor Orban has no peace plan of his own, but he has spent the past two weeks on a whistle-stop tour of Kyiv, Moscow, Azerbaijan, Beijing, Washington and even Mar-a-Lago, on a one-man mission that has infuriated leaders in the EU and US.

"Peace will not come by itself in the Russia-Ukraine war, someone has to make it," he proclaims in videos posted daily on his Facebook page.

He has been bitterly attacked by both Brussels and Washington for breaking EU and Nato unity and cosying up to Vladimir Putin and China’s leader Xi Jinping.

Few argue with his central premise, that there can be no peace without peacemakers. But his close economic relationship with Russia’s president leaves him open to the charge of acting as Mr Putin’s puppet.

European diplomats and officials have described their shock at President Joe Biden’s faltering, error-strewn public performances and revealed they have already started reaching out to Donald Trump. 

… One of those present texted POLITICO: “OMFG.”

A second added: “The European leaders froze onstage, although they did their best to keep smiling and clapping. Nobody mentioned it with the Biden team afterward.”

Another senior European diplomat in D.C. said colleagues have been busy reaching out to those who are likely to join the Trump team for months — setting up meetings, attending the same events, and inviting Trump’s allies to dinner.

Asked if there’s any pressure back home not to do this due to Trump’s polarizing image, one diplomat said: “No. We would be failing our duty if we were not trying to build connections with his people now.”
