A tech billionaire and dark-money Democratic donor who said he wished Donald Trump was an “actual martyr” days before the assassination attempt against him is now poised to bankroll Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, a source told The Post.

Reid Hoffman, a co-founder of LinkedIn, clarified his claims the day after Trump was shot, saying he does not condone political violence of any kind.

He has known Harris for years and is set to pump millions of dollars into her White House campaign, according to sources.

“He wants to be the new George Soros who is pulling the strings” in the Democratic Party, said a political adviser who knows Hoffman, referring to the nonagenarian philanthropist and Democratic mega-donor.

US Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri and other conservatives are calling on Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, to resign in the wake of the resignation of the head of the Secret Service.

Hawley made his remarks Tuesday’s resignation of Kimberly Cheatle as the director of the US Secret Service.

Cheatle was lambasted for vague answers before the Congressional Oversight Committee Hearing on Monday related to security failures before the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

“Now, Mayorkas must do the same,” Hawley posted on X on Tuesday.

Anti-Israel protesters claim to have unleashed maggots and crickets at Israeli delegation’s hotel ahead of Netanyahu speech

A pro-Palestinian organization posted a video Wednesday purporting to have unleashed a scourge of maggots and other critters at Washington, DC’s Watergate hotel, where some of the Israeli delegation was staying.

The video showed critters spread out across a table flanked by an Israeli and American flag in the background.

“Palestine protestors manufactured chaos at the Watergate Hotel last night so that Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents, and the Secret Service had no peace as they continue to terrorize our people,” the Palestinian Youth Movement posted on X.
