Within Justice Kavanaugh's dissent, He says the Supreme Court got it wrong:
The IEEPA law does let the President impose tariffs during a national emergency (based on its text, history, and precedents).
The majority wrongly applied the strict "major questions doctrine" to block it in foreign affairs/trade.
Even if the ruling stands, Presidents can likely impose similar (or MOST OF THE SAME) tariffs using these other trade laws instead:
โโ Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (Section 232 โ national security).
โโ Trade Act of 1974 (Sections 122, 201, 301 โ unfair trade, safeguards, balance-of-payments).
โโ Tariff Act of 1930 (Section 338 โ retaliatory tariffs).
These require a few extra steps (like INVESTIGATIONS), but cover the tariffs at issue.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
- Psalm 27:1
In this beautiful psalm, David reminds us of God's unfailing protection and guidance. The imagery of God as "light" highlights His role in illuminating our path amid life's darkest moments.
Light dispels darkness, bringing clarity and understanding.
Similarly, God's presence in our lives provides clarity and hope, even when times seem bleak.
David also refers to God as his "salvation" and "stronghold."
These terms emphasize God's role as a deliverer and protector.
Like a fortress, God provides refuge and strength, shielding us from life's challenges and fears.
In ancient times, a stronghold was a place of safety during battles.
David's use of this term reassures us that no matter the battles we face
-be they emotional, physical, or spiritualโGod stands as our unwavering defense.
This psalm speaks to the power of faith in overcoming fear. In a world fraught with uncertainties, fear can often grip our hearts.

Dear Heavenly Father,
In the midst of life's challenges, I come to You seeking strength and guidance.
Help me to embrace Your promises, knowing that they are a beacon of hope and a source of comfort. May Your words be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, guiding me through the trials I face.
Teach me to trust in Your unfailing love and to find peace in Your perfect plan.
As I journey through this day, remind me that Your timing is perfect and that You are always with me.
Grant me the courage to face each challenge with faith and resilience, knowing that with You, all things are possible.
In the name of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings Jesus Christ, I pray.
