I’m over here trying to get folks to see and understand that sports are undergoing a shift and an awakening as well.

Kinda hard to see that when you refuse to look beyond your pre-conceived notion of shitting all over them because “mUh sPoRtS aRe tEh eViL”.

Me and JB have highlighted PLENTY of stories pointing to this on Sports Talk. LITERALLY DOZENS OF STORIES.

Just as is with politics - the rot must be brought to the surface before it is expelled.

Find me another period in time when so many athletes and high profile owners were getting busted for various crimes - including sexual abuse and trafficking: James Dolan, Vince McMahon, Brock Lesnar … and that’s just in the past 2 weeks.

Remember that time the Bear’s DC stepped down because he was raided by the FBI in relation to kiddie porn? What about that time the Tampa Bay Rays All-Star Shortstop is currently facing charges of underage sex and assault?

Or the time Stephen A Smith literally said he is voting for Trump on-air?

My point? 10 years ago ALL THAT SHIT WAS GETTING SWEPT UNDER THE RUG.

A Great Awakening encompasses all, not just Politics. If you believe a Great Awakening doesn’t encompass everything, then you haven’t been paying attention to anything beyond your sphere of understanding … and it shows.

I ain’t here for a “partial” awakening. I’m here for the GREAT Awakening - and that, my frens … encompasses all.

If you would've told me 15 years ago that liberals would be fighting vigorously on the side of the establishment elites, big tech giants, and corporate controlled media it would've blew my mind.

The Israel-Gaza situation is one of the most hot-button sociopolitical issues one could imagine, which is reason enough to think it going kinetic to a degree it hasn't in decades during the Biden Admin is more than serendipity.

That said, as usual, I tend to leave attempts at sussing out the Actuals to those with the minds geared toward it, as I'm not confident in any of the narratives being weaved by any and all sides on the game board.

One of the Macro patterns that I've seen developing from a Narrative perspective, however, is the continued political and social isolation of Israel.

Formerly the belle of the ball when it comes to the western hegemon, Israel is routinely being condemned in recent weeks by everyone from the US (Deep) State Department to the EU, Germany and the UK.

This, in addition to the growing ire of the Saudis and Egyptians has long-standing treaties under threat.

Say, wasn't there a recent president who had all said treaties under control?
