Ultra-elite Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles - where Kamala Harris' husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, is a member - has been branded a 'racist aristocracy' with 'depraved standards' in a blockbuster lawsuit filed in LA against the club and its leaders.

According to the no holds barred filing on Monday afternoon, 'Perhaps no institution embodies the racial disparities and resistance to change more starkly than the infamous Hillcrest Country Club.

The club - known for having mostly white Jewish members, including Emhoff - has also been accused of nepotism and disregarding reports of sexual assault and drug abuse.

Exclusive: Trump launched CIA covert influence operation against China

Two years into office, President Donald Trump authorized the Central Intelligence Agency to launch a clandestine campaign on Chinese social media aimed at turning public opinion in China against its government, according to former U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the highly classified operation.

Three former officials told Reuters that the CIA created a small team of operatives who used bogus internet identities to spread negative narratives about Xi Jinping’s government while leaking disparaging intelligence to overseas news outlets. The effort, which began in 2019, has not been previously reported.

Former MLB star Steve Garvey has won more votes than Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) in the California Senate primary.

California has a unique Senate election process where it holds one primary for both parties, and the top two candidates head into the general in November. Garvey and Schiff have already won more votes than their challengers and advanced, but with votes still coming in more than a week after the Super Tuesday contest, Garvey has surpassed Schiff in the total number he has gathered.

In a surprise Wednesday, Garvey is leading Schiff by about 250,000 votes, with 89% of the votes tallied, the Associated Press reported. While the total number of votes no longer matters regarding dictating the general election, it signals a closer race than many thought Schiff would be facing against his Republican foe.

Apro-Democrat political action committee (PAC) has withdrawn its support for Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, citing his vocal backing of Israel's military campaign in Gaza.

After the October 7 attack on Israel, which left around 1,200 Israelis dead and saw more than 200 hostages kidnapped and taken back to Gaza, Fetterman emerged as one of the most enthusiastic Democratic backers of Israel's campaign against Hamas.

The No Dem Left Behind PAC wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday: "We deeply regret supporting Senator John Fetterman he betrayed all of us."

A federal appeals court on Thursday denied ex-Trump adviser Peter Navarro’s bid to stay out of prison while appealing his conviction for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit largely affirmed the trial judge’s ruling last month that Navarro’s appeal does not raise a “substantial question of law” and therefore doesn’t warrant his release.
