🚨GirlsDoPorn Owner Michael Pratt Extradited to Face Sex Trafficking Charges

🔹Michael Pratt, the alleged mastermind behind the GirlsDoPorn commercial sex trafficking ring, made his first appearance in federal court Tuesday following his extradition from Spain Monday. Pratt entered a not guilty plea.

🔹Pratt, who was the owner of the website GirlsDoPorn, was charged in Oct. 2019 with sex trafficking crimes in connection with a scheme to deceive and coerce young women to appear in porn videos.

🔹Pratt was an international fugitive for over 3 years before he was arrested in Spain in Dec. 2022. Earlier in 2022, he was named to the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Republicans sue two DOJ officials for ignoring subpoenas in Hunter Biden investigation

House Republicans filed a lawsuit Thursday against two Department of Justice officials who were involved in the department’s prosecution of Hunter Biden, saying the officials defied subpoenas by refusing to appear for depositions.

The House Judiciary Committee asked in its complaint that the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., force the officials, both of whom work in the DOJ Tax Division, to comply with the subpoenas and meet with the committee for interviews.

State prosecutors in New York said Thursday that fewer than 300 of the over 170,000 documents recently turned over to lawyers for former President Donald Trump are potentially relevant to his criminal defense and that their case alleging falsified business records should proceed to trial on April 15.

In a court filing, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office said the vast majority of the mountains of evidence turned over by federal prosecutors originated from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, and has no bearing on the allegations against Trump.

“Enough is enough. These tactics by defendant and defense counsel should be stopped,” the DA’s filing said, referring to Trump’s attempts to further delay or derail the trial.

New York attorney general makes first move to seize Trump’s assets

New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James took her first step toward seizing the assets of former President Donald Trump as part of the more than $450 million civil fraud judgment he faces.

James’ office filed judgments in Westchester County, which indicates that the state is getting ready to try to seize Seven Springs, Trump’s golf course and private estate, CNN reported Thursday.

The judgments were entered with the Westchester County Clerk’s Office on March 6, one week after Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay the major fraud fine and well before Trump’s deadline to satisfy the judgment.

The filing is the first step a creditor takes to try to recover property. The next steps could be putting liens on assets or trying to force a foreclosure, among other things.
