This NYT hit piece masquerading as a cultural deep dive is pretty fascinating for a few reasons:
For starters, it accurately describes Donald Trump as a leader who has embraced and been embraced by segments of the American electorate that have traditionally eschewed politics.
Additionally, it gets close to touching the third rail truth, which is that the rise of the UFC (more importantly, the rise in cultural importance of the UFC and its athletes, who are virtually impossible for the establishment to control by virtue of their very makeup) has closely mirrored and even front-run the rise of the America First movement.
The UFC, its athletes and most importantly, its fans aren't just scary to the establishment domestically, but globally.
If you need further evidence of that, observe that on Saturday night, Brazilian Renato Moicano used his mic time to push Austrian economics!
It turns out Sovereignty and self-actualization is becoming a popular sentiment.

The Supreme Court is allowing Idaho to enforce its ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth while lawsuits over the law proceed, reversing lower courts.
The justicesโ order Monday allows the state to put in a place a 2023 law that subjects physicians to up to 10 years in prison if they provide hormones, puberty blockers or other gender-affirming care to people under age 18. Under the courtโs order, the two transgender teens who sued to challenge the law still will be able to obtain care.

A dozen Republican-led states plan to send a letter to Bank of America demanding an explanation for why it allegedly de-banked Christian and other conservative groups.
The letter obtained first by DailyMail.com, led by Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, demands that the financial institution turn over documents related to its account cancellation policies and requested that the bank update its terms of services to not discriminate against clients with certain political or religious beliefs.
The notice comes after it was revealed that Bank of America sent the FBI and U.S. Treasury private consumer financial data to help the agencies investigate crimes related to the January 6 Capitol protest.

President Joe Biden formally REFUSED our invitation to testify in public about his knowledge of and participation in his familyโs business schemes.
It appears the apple doesnโt fall far from the tree in the Biden family. Like his son, Hunter Biden, President Biden is refusing to testify in public about the Bidensโ corrupt influence peddling. This comes as no surprise since President Biden continues to lie about his relationships with his sonโs business partners, even denying they exist when his son said under oath during a deposition that they did.
It is unfortunate President Biden is unwilling to answer questions before the American people and refuses to answer the very simple, straightforward questions we included in the invitation. Why is it so difficult for the White House to answer those questions? The American people deserve transparency from President Biden, not more lies.

The Trump Media & Technology Group Corporation, which runs the social media platform Truth Social, announced on Tuesday that it is formally launching a "new live TV streaming platform and will begin scaling up its own content delivery network," according to a news release.
The company made the announcement after "six months of testing on its Web and iOS platforms.
The formal rollout will begin with streaming of live TV to the Truth Social smartphone app followed by delivering the content through streaming apps for home TV.
"The streaming content is expected to focus on live TV including news networks, religious channels, family-friendly content including films and documentaries; and other content that has been cancelled, is at risk of cancellation, or is being suppressed on other platforms and services," the company said in the release.
