Scientists discover real-life Star Wars โDeath Starโ black holes that spin around, shoot planet-killing beams
A Death Star is born.
As if regular old star-gobbling black holes werenโt terrifying enough, scientists discovered that certain types swivel around and shoot beams at various objects in the cosmos, earning them comparisons to the planet-killing Death Star space base from โStar Wars.โ
The scientist and his team had examined 16 erupting supermassive black holes with NASAโs orbiting Chandra X-ray Observatory and the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) โ a system of ten radio telescopes located in New Mexico.

In letters to members of Congress calling for his recusal, Alito said that the two incidents involving flags at his home in Virginia and a vacation property in New Jersey first reported by The New York Times "do not meet the conditions for recusal" set out in the Supreme Court's newly adopted ethics code.

BREAKING๐จ: Jurors are done with deliberations for the day
Jurors were dismissed for the day at 4:06 p.m. after several hours of deliberations.
The judge asked the jury not to discuss the case with anyone else, and specifically not to give information in return for any benefit. He also asked them not to visit sites or read accounts of the case in newspapers, television, etc.
โYou must not google or otherwise search for information about the case," Judge Merchan said.
Jurors will resume deliberations tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.

Harvey Weinstein may face another indictment in NY as new sexual harassment claims surface: DA
Manhattan prosecutors may pursue a new indictment against Harvey Weinstein in the wake of new sexual harassment claims โ just as the disgraced movie mogul is scheduled to be retried on rape charges later this year.
At a Wednesday court hearing, Assistant District Attorney Nicole Blumberg said prosecutors are parsing through which of the new claims fall under the statute of limitations โ before adding that some potential survivors who were too timid to testify during Weinsteinโs first trial might be willing to step forward for his second.

House COVID-19 Committee Chairman Brad Wenstrup on Wednesday requested access to former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director Anthony Fauci's cellphone and personal email record
The request comes ahead of Fauci's planned testimony next week, in front of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. Wenstrup said there is new evidence that suggests Fauci used his personal email and cellphone for government communication.
The request comes after Fauciโs Senior Advisor Dr. David Morens emailed former EcoHealth President Dr. Peter Daszak and stated that he could send messages to Fauci privately to dodge Freedom of Information Act requests.

Donald Trump brought along his 18-year old son Barron to a high impact meeting that included Elon Musk and billionaire Nelson Peltz, exposing his son to some of the backroom dealings that could shape the 2024 campaign or a second Trump term.
The get-together came at Peltz's Palm Beach estate, and also included X, Musk's now 4-year-old son with actress Grimes.
Peltz's son Diesel, a tech entrepreneur who is friends with Musk, was also at the breakfast meeting, according to the Journal.
