Former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, who brought four lawsuits challenging the results of the 2020 election, was cleared of charges from the State Bar of Texas by the Texas Court of Appeals this month.

The court ruled in a 24-page opinion upholding the trial court that the Texas Barโ€™s Commission for Lawyer Discipline failed to show how she engaged in โ€œdishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentationโ€ in lawsuits she filed challenging former President Donald Trumpโ€™s presidential loss.

The lower trial court found that the evidence against Powell (pictured above) granted no-evidence summary judgment for her against the Texas Bar, which the bar appealed. The higher court criticized the Texas bar, โ€œThe Bar employed a โ€˜scattershotโ€™ approach to the case, which left this court and the trial court โ€˜with the task of sorting through the argument to determine what issue ha[d] actually been raised.โ€™โ€

In shocking litmus test, FBI security inquiry tried to unmask employeeโ€™s Trump support, memos show

FBI officials conducting a top-secret security clearance review for a longtime employee asked witnesses whether that employee was known to support former President Donald Trump, if he had expressed concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine or had attended a Second Amendment rally, according to internal memos that prompted a complaint to the Justice Departmentโ€™s internal watchdog alleging political bias inside the bureau.

The employeeโ€™s security clearance was revoked months after the interviews, which confirmed his support for Trump and gun rights and his concerns about the COVID vaccine, according to the documents obtained by Just the News.

The memos show that agents for the FBIโ€™s Security Division asked at least three witnesses in spring 2022 whether the employee, whose name and job title was redacted from the memos, had been known to โ€œvocalize support for President Trumpโ€ or โ€œvocalize objections to Covid-19 vaccination.โ€ Agents ascertained from at least one witness that the worker, in fact, had declined to get the coronavirus inoculation.

NEW: Trump's lawyers overnight filed a new motion to dismiss classified documents case based on "spoilation" of evidence that I have been reporting on. Also appears to confirm my report that FBI agents staged the docs photo at Mar-a-Lago:

Not only did DOJ recently admit the sequence of evidence in boxes taken at MAL are not the same as when they were seized but it appears the order of files in the 15 boxes Trump turned over to the archives in Jan 2022 also not in order. Big problem...

Biden To Offer Saudi Arabia Defense Treaty In Exchange For Official Ties With Israel

The White House is prepared to roll out a plan that will make Saudi Arabia a Japan-style ally in exchange for new official ties between Riyadh and Tel Aviv. While the Biden administration has invested substantial effort to get the deal inked, it is likely dead on arrival because Saudi Arabia refuses to normalize with Israel unless Tel Aviv agrees to the creation of a Palestinian state.

According to American, Israeli, and Saudi officials speaking with the Wall Street Journal, Washington is prepared to sign an agreement to defend Saudi Arabia if Riyadh establishes regular ties with Tel Aviv. However, it would not be a โ€˜peace agreement,โ€™ as the two countries are not at war.

Court rules for DHS employees alleging their division was disbanded in retaliation to their whistleblowing

Federal employees who are not promoted after blowing the whistle on wrongdoing at their agency could be victims of reprisal, a federal court has ruled, even if the expectation of advancement was never explicitly guaranteed.

A group of Homeland Security Department employees won an initial, precedent-setting ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit last week after initially losing before the Merit Systems Protection Board. The three employees said they were stripped of certain duties and responsibilities, and even saw their division within Customs and Border Protection disbanded, after they sounded the alarm DHS was failing to comply with a 2005 law.

WikiLeaks' Assange extradition appeal to be heard next month

LONDON โ€” WikiLeaks founder Julian Assangeโ€™s appeal against extradition from Britain to the United States will be heard next month, court officials in London said on Tuesday.

The Australian-born Assange, 52, is fighting extradition to the U.S. where he is wanted on 18 charges, nearly all under the Espionage Act, relating to WikiLeaksโ€™ mass release of secret U.S. documents โ€” the largest security breaches of their kind in U.S. military history.

His appeal will now be held on July 9-10, a spokesperson for Britainโ€™s Judicial Office said.
