We need a mindset shift.
This election is winnable. Did you watch the press corps eviscerate the press secretary just now? They are desperate to change the nominee. If they cared about the presidentโs performance, they would have opposed his candidacy in 2020 when his brain was still pudding and he wouldnโt leave the basement often to make sure he avoided public glitches.
They are acting this way because even though their electoral count starts at 191 if they nominated a side of beef for POTUS, they know Biden perhaps canโt even win a rigged race with the gains Trump is set to make with minorities (see 1972 Nixon), and if he could, 90% wouldnโt believe the outcome.
Negativity creates self fulfilling prophecies. If 10,000 negative people in 7 decisive states create 10 more, then we have 700,000 people who may not participate in this election and thereby seal the outcome in the wrong way. Dread does nothing to make a negative result feel better when it happens.
