NEW๐Ÿšจ: Newly released emails reveal Dr. Anthony Fauci instructing colleagues to delete messages early in the COVID-19 pandemic, contradicting his sworn congressional testimony. As chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Sen. Rand Paul has invited Fauci to clarify these discrepancies, emphasizing the need for transparency in government-funded research that may have contributed to the crisis.

Back in June 2024, during a House Select Subcommittee hearing, Fauci firmly denied any such actions. When asked by Rep. James Comer, "Dr. Fauci, did you ever delete an official record?" he responded, "No." Rep. Debbie Lesko pressed further: "Were you ever engaged in attempts to obstruct the Freedom of Information Act and the release of public documents?" Fauci answered, "No." And to Rep. Nicole Malliotakis's question, "Did you delete any emails or records related to the Wuhan lab or the origins of the virus?" he stated, "No, I did not."

Yet documents obtained by the committee tell a different story.

NEW๐Ÿคฌ: Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is hoping to block the Defense Department from offering military funeral honors to Ashli Babbitt, a veteran and January 6 protester shot and killed by a police officer during the protests.

Gallego has attacked the Department of Defense (DOD) for agreeing to provide Babbitt with an honorary military funeral and now hopes to pass legislation that would bar the funeral from being carried out.

Gallego said his bill โ€œcomes from a sense of patriotism, you know, as someone who served this country, as someone who unfortunately buried a lot of Marines with full military honors.โ€

โ€œThe idea that theyโ€™re giving this to a person who actively tried to overthrow the government, who was violent in nature, who knowingly was entering a restrictive zone while we were trying to conduct the safe passage of democracy, and the idea that theyโ€™re just going to give this without a fight, itโ€™s just not going to happen,โ€ he added.

โ€œIโ€™m gonna put people on the record to make sure that we know who stood with your traitor, Ashli Babbitt,โ€ Gallego said.
