Jimmy Kimmel did not get “cancelled”. He didn’t get fired because he has a differing political belief. It has NOTHING to do with free speech. Yep, we have the right to say what we want. However, employers have the right to fire any employee that harms their bottom line/business

He got fired for spewing flat out lies.

He got fired because his show has been losing millions of dollars hand over fist for years.

He got fired because advertisers are sick and tired of supporting a warped world view and message.

The lies about Kirk were simply the straw that broke the camel’s back

There is a vast difference between being cancelled for a political view and being fired because your conduct and product was detrimental to the company you worked for.

Funny how so many bitching about Kimmel being “cancelled” had literally f**k all to say about conservatives being cancelled simply for being conservatives. Literal crickets.

So y’all were okay with conservatives being cancelled because they are conservatives, but you flip your shit when a guy gets the boot for consistently lying to his audience while his show was consistently losing millions of dollars. Yeah - TOTALLY makes sense 🙄.

BREAKING FROM AXIOS🚨: Media moguls Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch and tech entrepreneur Michael Dell are expected to be among the U.S. investors who will be part of the potential deal for TikTok, President Trump said on Sunday.

The exact terms and timing remain unknown, but it's becoming clearer that TikTok is getting closer to being sold and remaining in business in the U.S.

What's still entirely unclear, though, is exactly who's involved, in what capacity, what price they will pay, who will lead the new entity, or when any deal will actually happen.

"Michael Dell is involved. I hate to tell you this, but a man named 'Lachlan' is involved. Do you know who Lachlan is? That's a very unusual name — Lachlan Murdoch. … And Rupert is probably going to be in the group — I think they're going to be in the group," Trump said in an interview with Fox News' "The Sunday Briefing," when asked about the U.S, buyers for the dominant social media app.

Trump is in the middle of suing Rupert Murdoch over the Wall Street Journal's reporting on Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein, while at the same time apparently bringing him into a deal that's been one of the administration's top economic and policy priorities this year.
