Lots of people in my neighborhood have decorated their house for Christmas.
Not one of them has a Nativity Scene. Or a Cross. Or even an Angel.
It is all Santas and reindeer.
If thatโs how they get their joy, so be it. God bless them.
But Iโm left here thinking about that time Jesus flipped tables in front of the temple while asking the Pharisees what have they done to the Fatherโs house.
Weโve forgotten what this season is for and what we honor and in doing so, we are denying Him and His glory.

โI can do all this through him who gives me strength.โ - Philippians 4:13
Mary was probably a teenager when the angel appeared. Joseph was a simple carpenter.
The shepherds were society's rejects. None of them were naturally strong enough for what God asked them to do.
Remember: God doesn't call the equipped. He equips the called.
You might feel weak right now.
Too weak to face what's ahead.
Too weak to keep going.
Too weak to overcome.
But weakness is the perfect place for God's strength to be revealed. And it will be, so long as you keep going.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.โ - 2 Corinthians 12:9
When you're weak, He's strong.
When you're inadequate, He's more than enough.
When you can't, He can.
The gift of Christmas is not just the baby in the manger, but the God who upholds the universe now living inside you.
That's power. That's strength.
That's everything you need.
You can do all things - not in your own strength, but through Christ who strengthens you.
Pause and Reflect:
Where do you feel weak or inadequate right now?
How might God want to display His strength in that very place?
Let us pray:
Mighty God, thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness and that I never face life in my own power.
When I feel tired or unable to move forward, remind me that You are strong within me.
Teach me to depend on Your presence and not on my own ability.
Fill me with courage, peace, and confidence that come from trusting in You completely.
Be my strength today and every moment.
In the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, I pray.
Amen.

Further evidence that The Great Awakening is Worldwide... The rise of Populism continues to spread in the Trump era.
The latest is the "stunning" victory of populist Jose Antonio Kast in Chile this week. Kast defeated the candidate of the center-left governing coalition and setting the stage for the countryโs most right-wing government in 35 years of democracy.
๐บ๏ธ Follow the patterns...
Kastโs landslide in Chile fits a now-familiar, years-long pattern in which right-leaning populists win by campaigning on โorder,โ borders, and anti-establishment frustrationโthen convert that mood into broad coalitions that include mainstream conservatives plus voters who feel the state has lost control.
๐งฉ How do they all fit together?
โ Security-first politics as the organizing idea:
Reporting on the result highlights Kastโs focus on tougher policing, potential militarized responses in high-crime areas, and a general โrestore orderโ message.
โ Immigration as a primary mobilizer:
Kast's agenda ties to stricter immigration policies and border enforcementโanother signature issue for right-populist campaigns globally.
โ A sharp ideological โcorrectionโ after dissatisfaction with incumbents:
Even where institutions remain stable, voters often swing hard when they perceive governments as ineffective on safety, cost of living, or state capacityโcreating openings for candidates who promise fast, decisive action.
๐ How this mirrors the global right-populist playbook (The Trump Era - Mid-2010s โ mid-2020s)
Across regions, right-populist leaders tend to rise through a recurring set of conditions and messages:
โ Grievance + anti-elite framing: โThe systemโ (traditional parties, technocrats, media, courts) is cast as self-serving and unable to protect ordinary people.
โ Identity and border politics: Immigration, national identity, and cultural change become high-salience issuesโoften more emotionally powerful than conventional left/right economics.
โ Globalization backlash: Research links support for populismโespecially right-populismโto globalization shocks (trade, migration, financial integration) interacting with cultural/identity concerns.
โ โStrong leaderโ solutions: Promises of rapid action on crime, bureaucracy, and corruptionโsometimes pushing institutional boundariesโare marketed as necessary to โmake the country work again.โ
๐ The โwaveโ effect: reinforcement across countries
Victories in one place normalize the style elsewhere: populist messaging travels well (social media, influencer ecosystems, shared consultants), and leaders borrow rhetoric and policy proposals (border crackdowns, expanded police powers, attacks on โwokeโ institutions). In Chileโs case, major coverage explicitly places the result inside a broader regional rightward resurgence (e.g., similar wins cited in parts of Latin America).
Good is winning....worldwide.
Follow the signal. Ignore the noise.
