GitHub started blocking accounts of Iranian devs, afraid that they will use it to develop nuclear bombs.

Recently, GitHub started banning Iranians 🇮🇷 from their platform for no apparent reason, other than a very generic rule in their Trade Control terms, stating that GitHub cannot be used "for purposes ... related to the development, production, or use of nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons or _long range missiles_ or unmanned aerial vehicles." (actually due to US sanctions).

I could also possibly use GitHub to create nuclear pony weapons, however I haven't been banned (yet) from GitHub: the ban is based on the regional setting of the GitHub account, essentially discriminating users from Iran, Crimea and other "enemy" countries (I love you all btw ❤️❤️❤️).

I strongly encourage you to protest and demand a response from GitHub, either by sharing this message and the #githubForEveryone hashtag, or by contributing to the following GitHub repo, with your support:

After months of private discussion, I've came here to say that Amano Team has been acquired by Combot!

Since Combot's first acquisition, @ZukuBot, we already knew that Amano would be purchased at some day, as it is well known and our projects have thousands of users. And as we though, this really came true and now Amano is owned by Combot. Our bots will soon be disabled and their features integrated into Combot. But don't worry, your saved data will be transferred too. Our projects will also be closed source to avoid unauthorized copying of the source codes, as told by Combot CEO.
