Clarifications on tonight's missile figures:
52 Kh-101 cruise missiles were launched, not 48.
4 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles were launched, not 3.
Therefore, we have an updated total of 83 missiles launched.

Last night Russia launched a total of 52 Kh-101 cruise missiles at Ukraine, using 6 Tu-95MS strategic bombers and 3 modernised Tu-160M strategic bombers.
This is the largest number of Kh-101 missiles launched in a single night since December 13, 2024, and by far the largest since Ukraine's Operation Spiderweb attacks on Russian strategic aviation on June 1, 2025.

President Volodymyr Zelensky told Axios in an interview on Tuesday, that he asked US President Donald Trump for an emergency “winter package” of Patriot air defense interceptors to help thwart Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
“We needed the Patriots yesterday,” Zelensky said, seeking 300 of them by winter.
According to Axios, Ukraine’s stockpiles of the interceptors have been almost depleted, and without them the country cannot defend itself against Russian ballistic missiles – the reason Ukraine could not stop recent Russian attacks on Kyiv, Zelensky said.
If the problem is not solved by winter, Russian missile attacks could destroy Ukraine’s power plants, shutting off heating for millions of Ukrainians and creating a humanitarian crisis.

Remember when this was considered Russian propaganda? Remember how so-called pro-Ukrainians doxxed me for saying EXACTLY THIS?
I've been saying this for years.
This is a war of attrition, where you prioritise destroying your enemy's capability to fight over forcing advances on the frontline.

For the record, it's been a war of attrition since the battle of Severodonetsk in June 2022.
The current Russian high-intensity offensive across the entire front began on October 10, 2023 with their storming of the Avdiivka direction, and has not stopped since.

The remaining 2-4 Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles were shot down over Donetsk/Rostov Oblast.

Ukraine attempted to attack the city of Rostov-on-Don with up to 8 FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles.
However, all of the missiles were shot down. They flew through Donetsk and Rostov Oblasts - regions with a much higher density of Russian air defence systems compared to areas further east.
Out of the last five Flamingo missile attacks, three resulted in every single missile being intercepted, while two (both on the Avitek military plant in Kirov) saw one impact each.
Russia has clearly adapted their approach to countering Flamingo cruise missiles, achieving a much higher interception rate compared to the initial attacks earlier this year.
