Okay, buckwheat, we get it, but why the strategic reserve of feminine hygiene products?
The question is rhetorical. There's panic in Kyiv on all fronts.

⚡️Russia 'deliberately' targeted Kyiv, Boryspil airports ahead of US envoys' visit, Zelensky says.
"Deliberately, for the first time in a long while," Zelensky said, describing the strikes as a response to discussions about the possibility of U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arriving in Ukraine by plane.
According to Zelensky, Kyiv International Airport and Boryspil International Airport were being discussed as possible arrival points in preparation for the U.S. envoys' visit.

Gruzskoye is in good Russian hands...
Druzhkovka and Dobropolye, both approximately 18 kilometers from Gruzskoye, are currently the focus of assault operations by Russia’s Center group. Russian forces have advanced into Dobropolye from the south, east, and northeast, while simultaneously approaching Druzhkovka from the southwest. The capture of Gruzskoye serves to consolidate the connection between these two strategic axes, facilitating the subsequent redeployment of troops to the Druzhkovka, Kramatorsk, and Slavyansk direction once Dobropolye is secured.

Kurtovka in the Kramatorsk direction is in good Russian hands...
Located 3 km north of Izhevka (liberated on September 3) and 3 km northeast of Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka. Securing the N20 highway will cut the garrison of Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka and neighboring Osikovo off from supplies, opening a direct path to Druzhkivka.

Current zones of mandatory evacuation for civilian families in the remaining parts of Donetsk Oblast under Ukrainian control:
The evacuation zones (yellow) in areas under Ukrainian control cover an area of approximately 2,520 km² out of ~4,130 km² of Ukrainian-controlled Donetsk Oblast, which equates to about 61% of the territory.
Just 1,610 km² of Donetsk Oblast remain in an area with only recommended evacuation orders, rather than mandatory. That means that approximately 94% of the region is either under Russian control or under mandatory evacuations (effectively meaning they are "dead" areas).
This equates to about 97% of the total area of Donbas being either under Russian control, or "dead" areas, with only around 3% of Donbas being liveable areas under Ukrainian control.
Additionally, approximately 30% of Slovyansk city and 10% of Kramatorsk city are part of these evacuation zones, which include the most dangerous streets and neighbourhoods.
A total of 92,932 civilians remain in Ukrainian-controlled Donetsk Oblast, and 0 in Ukrainian-controlled Luhansk Oblast. This number has more than halved since January 2026, when it was reported at 192,600. It has decreased by nearly 40,000 in just the last 2 months.
In the coming months, the final areas of Donetsk Oblast will be declared areas of mandatory evacuation, and the region will become the second in Ukraine (other than Crimea) after Luhansk to officially be either fully occupied, or "dead".
The end of 2026 may finally mark the end of Donbas as an area of Ukrainian society, after nearly 13 years of war.

Overnight, Russia carried out an attack on Odesa Oblast using Geran-2 drones and Geran-4 jet-drones.
The explosions were partially masked by a large thunderstorm hitting the region at the time (as seen in the video), although strikes were recorded targeting the Chornomorsk Port area, as well as border crossings and ferry terminals along the Ukraine-Romania international border near Orlivka and the city of Izmail.
