Exclusive footage obtained by CNN shows extensive fire damage aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford following a March blaze during operations against Iran, raising questions about the severity of the incident and the effectiveness of the ship’s fire-suppression systems.

Sailors described the fire as significantly more serious than initially indicated by the U.S. Navy, with footage showing heavily damaged berthing areas, destroyed bunks, charred structures, and extensive smoke and fire damage.
The carrier’s fire-control system failed to function as intended, forcing crew members to manually battle the blaze.
The fire took around 30 hours to fully extinguish and affected accommodations for roughly 600 sailors. Although the Navy stated at the time that the ship remained operational, officials acknowledged that flight operations were temporarily disrupted, with the carrier requiring repairs during a port call in Greece.
Officials expect an extended maintenance period

CNN: The US Navy previously said in a short statement that the fire was "contained", two sailors with non-fatal injuries were treated and the ship was "fully operational".
However, new pictures and witness statements show that parts of the sailors' quarters have been completely destroyed and the beds have turned into burnt and twisted metals due to the fire.
In this report, a sailor on the ship is quoted as saying: I really thought we were going to lose the ship; We had to either fight or die.
The ship "Gerald R. After returning to its home base in Virginia, the Ford has entered a lengthy period of repairs and is expected to be out of service for at least a year.
It was also announced that this fire caused 13 billion dollars worth of damage to the aircraft carrier Gerald Ford

The situation for Ukraine in Kostyantynivka is deteriorating day by day.
Russian soldiers began carrying out evacuations of Ukrainian civilians from the city centre (red marker) a few days ago, indicating a strong presence in the northern part of the city.
This, coupled with the Ukrainian airstrikes on the western suburbs, suggests that Ukraine might have initiated a withdrawal from most of the city.
Keep in mind, the area where Russia is carrying out evacuations is 600 metres outside of even the nearest grey-zone on Deepstate's map. It's likely that a lot of maps don't show how dire the situation there is right now.
