Head of the International Cooperation and Strategic Communications Center of the State Security Service of the Ukraine Valentina Savitskaya was killed in the missile strike on the military exhibition near Kiev.

The State Security Service is responsible for the security of senior officials of the Ukrainian government, including Vladimir Zelensky himself, as well as the protection of government buildings and foreign delegations.

Igor Solovey, Savitskaya's husband and head of the "Spravdi" Center for Strategic Communications (a Ukrainian organization dedicated to countering "hybrid operations") announced the news of her death.

Head of Ukrainian military intelligence Budanov confirmed the presence of foreign delegations at yesterday's exhibition of attack drones intended for use against targets within the Russian Federation.

The delegates were reportedly duly impressed by what they saw.

Today, the Kyiv region is observing a day of mourning for those who lost their lives in the Russian attack on July 24th. Our condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.

Many people were injured. Doctors are fighting to save every life. We wish a speedy recovery to all those affected.

This is yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation. The enemy deliberately struck at a time when foreign delegations were in Kyiv. This is a deliberate act of terrorism.

However, in the context of a full-scale war, the organizers of such events and those who approve them must bear personal responsibility for the safety of people. Security must be guaranteed at the highest level. If this is not the case, then the event should not take place.

This lesson, unfortunately, is not the first, but it must finally be the last.

During the attack on the military exhibition near Kyiv, a security service employee, Colonel Eduard Sirenko, was killed, according to eyewitness accounts on social media.

Sources identify him as an employee of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) and the GRU (Main Intelligence Directorate).

According to open sources, he previously headed the Center for Special Operations Department of the SBU and served in Iraq.

In 2018, Sirenko was arrested on charges of creating an organized crime group and extortion, and the trial continued until the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. At the time, the media reported on him as a former SBU employee.

Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to launch group strikes using high-precision air-based weapons and attack drones.

As a result of the strikes:

In the port of "Nikolaev" (Nikolaev Sea Trade Port State Enterprise), a cargo ship that had delivered supplies intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit while unloading.

In the port of "Odessa" (Odessa Sea Trade Port State Enterprise), infrastructure facilities intended for unloading and storing military cargo were hit.

In the port of "Izmail" (Izmail Sea Trade Port State Enterprise), infrastructure facilities intended for unloading and storing fuel and lubricants, as well as a warehouse containing military equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, were hit.

We are witnessing the systematic dismantling of Kiev's port infrastructure in the estuaries of the Dnieper, Danube, and Black Sea ports.

Now that activity in these ports has been suspended, the main priority now is to prevent their resumption of operations and to target the Danube ports. Judging by the fact that our drones have been operating very intensely over Izmail for the last two days, it seems [the Russians] have decided to start with it as the most important one. The next most important is Reni. The least important is Kilia, which they will  likely leave "for last."

Regarding yesterday's Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile strike on arms exhibition for the "ARMADA" company in Kyiv.

I've been told that the total number of people attending the event was between 200 and 1,000, and that Ukrainian authorities are downplaying the true number of casualties. To quote the source directly, "everything was covered in corpses", with the true casualty count potentially being up to 5-10 times higher than officially stated (which would be between 50-100 dead in total).
