They are flying towards the city centre of Kyiv.

Some of these drones are equipped with cameras, and are actively carrying out reconnaissance over Kyiv for the next large-scale missile attack.

9 Geran-4 jet-drones are detected, including 3 other Kyiv. At least 5 of them are equipped with cameras and are being remotely controlled by drone operators, including all three of the ones over the city.

They're making a fourth circle over Kyiv now. They still haven't been shot down.

The three drones flew away from Kyiv. One was shot down while leaving. They are now flying back to the city.

5 others are flying to Kyiv from the northeast.

NASA FIRMS data indicates that a large fire broke out at/near the "Raben Ukraine" Logistics Warehouse in the city of Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, following several Russian Geran-4 jet-drone strikes earlier today.

This location was previously targeted by ballistic missiles on August 5.

In the capital, lists of Kyiv residents are being compiled in case of prolonged disruptions to heating, according to media reports. Priority will be given to relocating elderly people, people with disabilities, and families that have children with disabilities. Temporary accommodation is currently being prepared.

Cheaper than a missile, just as hard to down — Russia's Banderol munition adds strain to Ukraine's air defenses

Ukraine faces a drastically escalating threat from Russia's "Banderol" — a hybrid loitering munition combining features of a cruise missile and a jet-powered drone. Capable of speeds over 500 km/h, it accounted for roughly 80% of recent attacks on Odesa’s food infrastructure.

"The enemy is getting a tool that has a profile similar to a cruise missile, but is several times cheaper and easier to use," aviation expert Anatolii Khrapchynskyi told the Kyiv Independent.

▪️Far from just an issue with artillery shells, US military industrial production is being held back by systemic flaws rooted in the for-profit nature of the US government and economy itself - siphoning off billions (if not trillions) of tax dollars and not only returning nothing of value for the American public - but diverting funding abroad on wars of aggression at the expense of funding healthcare, education, and infrastructure at home.
