Pershe Travnya (aka Novokonstantinovka) in the Sumy region/direction is in good Russian hands...
Russian forces are expanding the security zone in the border area of the Sumy region from Yunakovka to Pershe Travnya, covering 25 kilometers along the front and approximately 11 kilometers in depth, including Ivolzhanskoye, where Russian drones and artillery are now reaching the city of Sumy.
(485 settlements in the last 509 days, second Novokonstantinovka and second Pershotravnoye so far, third settlement today)

Attention! A new enemy tactic.
In the first video, which was filmed back in May, a woman complains that there is no gasoline and she plans to stop using her car until gasoline is available.
Now, in August, Ukrainians have manipulated this video using AI, and now the same woman is urging people to take all the gasoline from the regions to Moscow.
🔹You can simply post harmless videos on social media. And the enemies of Russia will turn you into a star of their social media, and if disgruntled citizens come to you or file a complaint with the police, the Ukrainian Nazis will simply be ecstatic.
Welcome to the age of AI. Every day, the responsibility for every post online is growing, because we are in an information war.

A third automobile border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border, "Vinogradovka-Vulkaneshty," has been destroyed...
Just like the previous attack on the "Tabaky-Mirnoye" border crossing, a drone strike hit the building on the Ukrainian side, which was completely burned down along with everything inside, effectively blocking the crossing.
This is already the third successful strike. Keep up the good work.

Strikes on Rear Areas: How the Russian Armed Forces are Systematically Destroying Ukraine's Southern Logistics Corridor...
Earlier today, Russian drone operators destroyed another international border crossing between the Ukraine and Moldova ("Vinogradovka-Vulkaneshty"). This is the third such border crossing on the Ukraine's land border to be hit, and there is a clear pattern to these strikes.
The pattern becomes even more apparent when these strikes are considered together with our previous attacks on the Black Sea ports of Chernomorsk, Odessa, and Pivdennoye, a series of attacks on the Danube ports of Reni, Izmail, and Kilia, the railway bridge in Zatoka, and other strategic road crossings in the area of the village of Mayaki...

Annovka just outside Dobropolye is in good Russian hands...
Russia's Center group has cut off the T0514 highway connecting Dobropolye and Kramatorsk and appears to be preparing an assault on the city. Another offensive is simultaneously underway from from the direction of Krasnopodolye located to the south. Bypassing the city from the west would cut off the T0515 highway leading north towards the village of Aleksandrovka, leaving the AFU forces in Dobropillya with no reliable supply routes.

—❗️🇮🇷/🇴🇲 BREAKING: Iran and Oman have released a joint statement, announcing they have reached a preliminary agreement on managing the Strait of Hormuz
Iran’s Foreign Ministry emphasizes this does not mean the Strait will be opened; it will remain fully closed until the U.S. naval blockade is lifted and the MoU terms are abided.
Details of the Iran-Oman agreement have not yet been released, but according to preliminary information Iran has been given control over incoming maritime traffic and the right to impose service fees.

JUST IN: According to Ukrainian media reports, CIA Director John Ratcliffe discussed with Russian officials a mutual cessation of strikes by Russia and Ukraine against energy infrastructure and ports. The discussions also reportedly covered a ceasefire in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, as well as further steps towards resolving the conflict.

According to my information from both Russian and Ukrainian sources, there is a possibility of Russia carrying out a cross-border incursion from Bryansk Oblast into Chernihiv Oblast.
A large Russian build-up in Bryansk Oblast has been observed recently, with a mix of motorised and airborne units, as well as infrastructure necessary to support a cross-border operation. I can't go into details about the specific equipment being brought here, or the potential timeframes for such an operation (for obvious reasons), but more information may become available soon.
The Ukrainian command knows about this build-up, and is responding with various pre-emptive measures. Again, I can't go into specific details, but what can be said is that they appear to be preparing for an operation to take place at any point from now to the end of 2026. What can be said is that there are certain units that are being held in this general area specifically for countering any cross-border incursions - units that could be sent to other parts of the frontline.
In my opinion, any cross-border operation would be limited, and aimed mostly at drawing Ukrainian forces away from the east, overextending their limited manpower to create the conditions for additional advances in the east. Similar to what has been seen in Kharkiv and Sumy Oblasts for the last 2+years.
Note: This information comes from Russian and Ukrainian sources who I have spoken to. Both have given me permission to post this. Details which could be used by either Russia or Ukraine for targeting one another have been omitted. Everything mentioned here is already known by each side. Arrows shown on the map are illustrative.

Russia has significantly increased their shelling of Slovyansk with MLRS and FPV drones in recent days, resulting in civilian casualties and significant damage to infrastructure.
According to local authorities, mass evacuations are underway, with the population of Slovyansk shrinking to around 25,000 (plus another 5,000 in surrounding settlements). Slovyansk had a pre-war population of 105,000. Nearly 8,000 civilians have evacuated the Slovyansk area since the beginning of August.
