On September 10, forces from Sanaa launched an amphibious operation on the Hanish Islands, taking control of the archipelago. Meanwhile, in Taiz, Ansarallah continued advancing south of Al Mukha along the coast, taking control of Jabal al-'Umari and the 17th Brigade barracks, as well as Dhubab and its airport, located 15 kilometers from Sheikh Said and thus from the Bab el-Mandeb Strait (reports of a landing on the island of Perim are incorrect). Moreover, from the interior, Ansarallah took control of the remaining areas of the Al Wazi’iyah districts until reaching the administrative borders with the Lahij governorate.

According to eyewitnesses, people with dogs are not allowed in at all.
