A Ukrainian Armed Forces contingent of 1,700 personnel, comprising six battalions from the 22nd and 159th Separate Mechanized Brigades and four border guard outposts from the 15th Border Detachment, has been neutralized. The remaining elements of the encircled forces have retreated into wooded terrain, although this position is considered temporary – once the foliage becomes sparse and colder weather conditions set in, the neutralization of the remaining forces will be completed.
