Since the beginning of the Military operation in Ukraine "pro-Putin" United Australia Party Candidates have been resigning in disagreement with the UAP condemning Russia as "the bad guy".
So far we know of the following resignations:
๐NSW Senate Candidate Sean Ambrose
๐Seat of Flinders Morgan Jones
๐Seat of Macnamara, Jefferson Earl
โ ๏ธSources close to the UAP have confirmed more candidates from Victoria, Tasmania and NSW may be poised to resign in the days to come.
Candidates have listed the following reasons for resignation;
๐ดA lack of resources and organisation from the party
๐ดThe apparent "party ban" on candidates speaking out in support of Russia to the media.
๐ดParty leader, Craig Kelly, has told the Guardian: โIt is very important that the entire world is united in condemning Putinโs conduct to the Ukraine.โ
PS. Personally I think Craig Kelly is a good, honest guy who genuinely fights for Australian's Freedom. It seems UAP leadership have misjudged their position on the war.
