❗️Soldiers on the front lines are congratulating the entire country on Unity Day!
⚡️Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that it is the unity of our people that helps Russia to win today.
⚡️This applies to the special military operation, to economic development despite sanctions, and to breakthroughs in science, culture, and sports.
⚡️We believe in Russia, we are proud of it, and we feel a sense of belonging to its destiny.
⚡️These feelings guided the militia of Minin and Pozharsky in 1612, and they are helping us to overcome challenges today.
⚡️Defending the Motherland has become a unifying goal for millions of people across the country.
⚡️On the front lines, unity is especially evident: mutual support and a willingness to help a comrade determine the combat effectiveness and survival of a unit.
⚡️Multi-ethnic Russia unites hundreds of unique cultures and traditions, but it is the common military cause and loyalty to military duty that transform our defenders into an unbreakable force.
⚡️In addition, millions of workers in the defense industry, doctors, and volunteers are supporting the soldiers on the home front.

❗️Tragic Loss on the Frontlines: Priest Aleksandr Solovyov Killed in Action
On November 1, Father Aleksandr Solovyov, a cleric of the Stavropol Diocese, was killed in the line of pastoral duty in the Sumy direction. The priest’s life was cut short by a targeted strike from an enemy FPV drone.
Father Aleksandr had been carrying out his spiritual mission on the frontlines since mid-2022.
For over four years, he remained steadfastly alongside defenders of the Fatherland on the line of contact—administering the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion, blessing soldiers before assault operations, comforting the wounded, and sharing every hardship of frontline life.
His pastoral journey was a living testament to the highest Gospel commandment of sacrificial love: “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13).
Until his very last breath, he remained with his flock, sharing the deadly perils of combat duty.
The loss of this devoted shepherd on the battlefield brings deep sorrow to the hearts of his fellow clergy, soldiers, and the faithful.
We request your earnest prayers for the repose of the soul of the newly slain priest Aleksander.
☦️May the Lord grant His servant Eternal Memory and the Kingdom of Heaven!
