๐ฉ๐ด ๐บ๐ธ Dominican Republic (June 7) Two crew members were killed after a US-registered Gulfstream G200 executive jet crashed while attempting an emergency landing at La Romana International Airport.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Initial information suggests the crew may have been dealing with an engine-related emergency.
The aircraft, bound for Austin, Texas, reportedly declared an emergency due to mechanical issues about 16 nautical miles southwest of La Romana before turning back. The jet crashed during the landing attempt and caught fire.
This plane crash is from yesterday.
