Teulon, MB ~ Canada A busy section of Highway 7 north of Winnipeg is closed Wednesday morning following a severe storm that brought heavy rain, hail and strong winds to the area. Highway 7 is closed from Highway 67 to Highway 17 in Teulon due to flooding and a sinkhole. There are reports that a vehicle struck the sinkhole and that debris is scattered throughout the area. RCMP have been notified, and barricades have been set up to block traffic.

HOFFMAN, Minnesota WILD WIND: A train was derailed last night in Hoffman, MN when 80 mph gusts plowed through. This west-central Minnesota town took quite the hit, as the really intense straight line winds came in from South Dakota around 1:00 am.

UBLY, Michigan Authorities are responding to a train derailment in Huron Co this morning. At approx 7:45 a.m. Wed, June 10th, local officials confirmed a derailment near the M-19 and McTaggart Road crossing. Ubly Police Chief Anthony Wood says emergency personnel remain at the scene evaluating conditions and coordinating response efforts. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and ted, and officials have not provided a timetable for reopening the roadway.
