Dance has always been the most human thing — older than language, older than belief, woven into every culture that ever gathered around a fire.

In the Shaivite tradition, reality is not a static structure — it is a rhythm. And Shiva, as Nataraja, is its source.

The image of Nataraja is precise in every detail. His upper right hand holds the damaru — the small drum whose beat marks the first sound of creation, the pulse from which all matter emerges. His upper left carries a flame — not destruction as punishment, but dissolution as necessity, the fire that clears the ground for what must come next. His lower right hand is raised in abhaya mudra, the gesture of protection and fearlessness. His lower left points downward toward his raised foot — the gesture of grace, of release, pointing to the one place where liberation is possible.

Beneath him, he stands on the dwarf Apasmara — the demon of ignorance, of unconscious existence, of the ego that mistakes itself for the whole. Shiva does not destroy him. He holds him underfoot, because ignorance cannot be eliminated — only transcended, again and again, through awareness.

And around all of it, the ring of fire. The cosmos in its entirety, burning at its edges, endlessly turning.

What the Nataraja encodes is not a story about a god who dances. It is a map of reality in motion — creation, sustenance, dissolution, concealment, and liberation happening not in sequence but simultaneously, always, in every moment. Shiva dances because the universe dances!

This is why the body moving in rhythm has always carried something sacred. It is not imitation of the divine. It is the embodiment of the divine 🔥

🇺🇸 This is the moment a customer busted two Shell workers running the screw scam to charge gas to other customers. He told them straight: take the screws out or I’m ruining your entire company.

However..

- Gas station owners will sometimes put a screw in the pump holster to prevent the little flappy thing from flapping out too far when it gets old and worn out. People saw this and assumed it was a scam where it would prevent the pump from registering that you finished pumping, and would keep your transaction open for the person after you to pump gas on your credit card.

Israel burninging Taybeh, Palestine which began two days ago, with open fire on homes and throwing Mololov cocktail firebombs. Targeting innocent, setting fields on fire.

Taybeh is considered one of the oldest Christian villages in the West Bank (among appx a dozen), circa ancient Ophrah of the Tribe of Benjamin. Named Taybeh in 1596, means "goodly" in Arabic (Tayyibat al-Isem "beautiful of name"). In the 5th century, St. George's Church, was built in the east of the town.

Since Israel's incorporation, Taybeh has been a target, due to the astounding real estate views. In 1882, Taybeh was described as a "large Christian village in a conspicuous position, with well-built stone houses. A central tower stands on the top of the hill; on either side are olive and fig gardens in the low ground. The view is extensive on either side. A ruined church of St George exists near, and there are remains of a ruined castle in the village. The inhabitants are Greek Christians."

A Kingdom of God cannot be built upon the destruction of innocence!
