According to the Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters and others, at around 9:58 a.m. today (the 4th), a report was received that the bottom of a 3-story building near the Seogwipo Autonomous Police Station in Seogwi-dong, Seogwipo City had collapsed.

The collapsed section is 5m long and 3m high.

The FD immediately arrived at the scene and evacuated 7 people from 5 nearby households in 2 separate operations.

It was reported that no one was injured during this process.

An investigation into the cause of the collapse is also underway.

BALTIMORE, Maryland

The Baltimore City FD was dispatched to a manhole fire in the Charles Village neighborhood on Thursday afternoon, said officials.

On July 2 at around 4:00 p.m., the crews responded to St. Paul Street and E. 28th Street for reports of an outside fire.

Upon arrival, units observed light smoke and quickly identified a manhole fire.

BGE, Baltimore City OEM, and Baltimore City DPW were requested to the scene for assistance.

There are no injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
