China has released the first official footage of an H-6N strategic bomber in flight carrying the nuclear-capable JL-1 air-launched ballistic missile.
The footage shows the H-6N carrying the massive missile beneath its fuselage while escorted by two J-20 stealth fighters.
The H-6N/JL-1 combination forms the airborne component of China’s nuclear triad, alongside its land-based and submarine-launched nuclear forces.
