Republic of Dagestan. Elevator plummets 50 feet and breaks 4 men's legs as it crashed into the ground. A building suffered from a failed elevator after 9 men got onto an elevator meant to hold only 6.
Officials say the elevator fell from the 4th floor to the ground, and the men can be seen being tossed into each other and collapsing onto the ground. The building never received a commissioning certificate from housing officials, which has led the Dagestan Housing Authority to question the safety and legality of the elevator.

The captain smoked a joint right before the Phuket–Delhi flight, but soon lost control, and the plane began a sharp descent, leaving 24 people injured. The co-pilot took over and landed the aircraft.

The pilot had tested positive for psychoactive substances during the post-flight screening in Delhi. Another test was conducted some time later, and sources said on Tuesday that this was also positive.
