🇺🇸🇧🇭⚡️ — The United States has postponed the return of families of military personnel stationed in Bahrain for an indefinite period.

The U.S. Navy informed the families of approximately 1,300 service members who were evacuated from Bahrain that they should not expect a swift return.

Families have been advised to establish new permanent residences, primarily within the United States.

The commander of NAVCENT, Admiral Kurt R. Tidd, stated that the duration of the evacuation was not initially planned and that numerous changes have been made in the decision-making process.

The possibility of returning to Bahrain remains open should security conditions improve.
