Rubio is telling foreign counterparts the strikes are off until after the midterms...
-Axios reports he told several counterparts the U.S. does not plan new strikes on Iran for the time being
-Pressure runs through the naval blockade and the new sanctions campaign instead
-Strikes remain on the table if Iran attacks first
-The posture is expected to hold at least until after the November elections, when another campaign could be considered
Every capital Rubio briefed now knows the shooting stops until November 3.
Tehran has spent this month telling anyone listening that it can outlast an American political clock, and a timeline just got handed to it through diplomatic channels.
Support for the war sits at 31% with gas a dollar higher, which explains the date better than anything happening in the Gulf.

‼️‼️🇺🇸🇷🇺🇪🇺 CIA Director John Ratcliffe may have made his surprise trip to Moscow to personally warn Vladimir Putin against a planned or potential Russian attack on Europe.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the official purpose of Ratcliffe’s unexpected visit has still not been disclosed. However, U.S. intelligence has reportedly obtained information indicating that Russia may be preparing for a new mobilization and considering actions designed to test NATO’s resilience. A former senior U.S. intelligence official suggested that Ratcliffe may have personally delivered a blunt message to Putin: “We know what you’re planning. You’d better not do it.” Ratcliffe spent approximately four hours in Moscow, while the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster that brought him to the Russian capital has already departed Vnukovo Airport.
The historical parallel is impossible to ignore: the last CIA director to visit Moscow was William Burns on November 2–3, 2021, when he warned the Kremlin against invading Ukraine months before the full-scale war began. If Ratcliffe’s mission had a similar purpose, his highly unusual visit could indicate that Washington is taking intelligence about possible Russian escalation against Europe extremely seriously and is attempting to deter Moscow before it takes the next step.
