Anthropic just published a 154 page report on the worst things people tried to do with Claude, and it says it shut every one of them down.
A cell in Yemen used Claude Code to write missile guidance software, then came back hours after a failed rocket test to ask what went wrong. Freelancers in Russia built a kamikaze drone swarm whose onboard AI could pick a person as the target. A Chinese studio ran 20 fake dating apps on 4700 Claude personas.
Seven Chinese AI labs ran copy campaigns too. Moonshot quietly forwarded its own users’ requests to Claude and trained on the answers.
Every case ran on Haiku, Sonnet or Opus, none on Fable or Mythos apart from one distillation case.
