Markets had a knee-jerk party: S&P +2.5%, Nasdaq +3.5%, oil pulled back to $100.
This “relief rally” might not last long.
With Hormuz still blocked (20% of global oil + massive LNG), we’ve got the biggest supply shock in oil market history. Diesel is already up 49%, shipping/food costs are exploding, and the Fed won’t be cutting rates anytime soon.
The market removed the war premium but hasn’t priced in the much worse supply premium yet.
