🇧🇷 Brazil. A woman was swallowed up by a manhole after its lid gave way in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

A woman walking on the sidewalk and looking at her phone stepped on the manhole lid, which suddenly gave way. Security camera footage captured the moment she fell into the hole, hit her head on the structure, and disappeared inside. The motorcyclist who had just dropped her off rushed to help.

Firefighters rescued her and took her to Hospital Federal do Andaraí with moderate injuries.

Multiple Instagram accounts, including one used by the Obama White House, were hacked after cybercriminals exploited a vulnerability in Meta’s AI assistant. Meta says the security flaw has since been fixed.

Human Remains of Missing Los Alamos Lab Employee Found in New Mexico Forest
