NEW THREAT IS ROTATING TOWARD EARTH
A growing coronal hole is now rotating into an Earth-facing position, and it could soon unleash a powerful stream of high-speed solar wind directly into Earthโs magnetic field.
What makes this stand out is that the opening appears to be expanding, raising the potential for stronger geomagnetic activity in the days ahead.
At the same time, a CME is already on the way and could impact Earth today, potentially triggering G2 to G3 geomagnetic storm conditions.
