3 train cars carrying automobiles derailed outside of Petco Park in downtown San Diego and fell onto a nearby bridge pillar.

Authorities say they have set up a concrete barrier blocking all northbound bicycle, motor, and pedestrian traffic near the incident, and it could remain closed for several weeks.

The city of San Diego released a statement saying crews are "conducting structural assessments to the elevated roadway above the train tracks to determine needed repairs."

This morning via email update, we received notice that caregivers who have traveled to countries considered high risk for Ebola, should be monitored for symptoms.

This was sent today. On May 23rd I received .

My department is now a part of meetings with the areas Special Pathogen Unit. Focus is on Ebola of course. I’m currently a back-up representative for these meetings, but I really want to know what they are discussing. I will share what I can.

These meetings occurred with Covid. Hopefully this is just for preparedness.
