BREAKING: U.S. forces disabled an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman overnight after it violated the naval blockade on Iran.
According to CENTCOM, the Guinea-Bissau-flagged tanker M/T Jalveer was attempting to transport Iranian oil when U.S. aircraft fired two Hellfire missiles into its engine room after the crew repeatedly ignored instructions. The operation follows similar actions against two other tankers earlier this week as the U.S. intensifies enforcement of the blockade.
