🇺🇸 San Francisco. A homeless man is dead and two SFPD officers are injured after a stolen bottle of wine leads to a foot pursuit and the underside of an SUV.
A San Francisco police officer found himself trapped under a car after a confrontation with a suspected thief spilled into the street. As the two officers tried to detain the suspect, a car hit all three of them, running over the suspect and one officer and trapping the second officer. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to police.
Both officers sustained injuries to their legs but are expected to be ok. The suspect died from his injuries.
