Police across Europe are lying about the identities of criminals to protect a political narrative.
In the Netherlands, authorities told the mother of 14 year old Tamar that her daughter had been run over and killed by a German driver.
The driver was actually an Iraqi asylum seeker living in Germany, one of four Iraqi men in a car with German plates.
When the mother later confronted police about the lie, they reportedly told her they had done it to avoid creating an anti-immigrant “Wilders effect.”
This is the same institutional instinct that led UK authorities to describe Pakistani grooming gangs as “Asian” for years.
It is the same instinct that produces American crime reports and media coverage in which Black, Hispanic, and other minority offenders are sometimes categorized or described in ways that obscure uncomfortable patterns.
They even jot them down as white or bend over backwards to never mention their race (see Coulter’s Law).
When protecting the feelings of favored communities and shielding open border policies matters more than justice and telling the truth to victims’ families, the state stops serving the public. It starts ruling over them.
