Jefferson Parish emergency investigators are en route to these CPKC railroad off L&A in Metairie… we’re also seeing downed power poles, power lines, and debris up and down Airline Hwy. Stay off the roads if you can! First responders are out trying to clean up all the mess, give them the space they need.

The road is starting to buckle on the East Frontage Road on I-55 N right at Steed Rd in Ridgeland. MDOT sent a crew to evaluate the road on Wed.

MURRAY, Utah
Multiple lanes on NB I-15 were closed Thursday morning for emergency maintenance after the road began to buckle.
3 lanes were closed on I-15 at the I-215 interchange in Murray as crews worked to address road buckling, according to officials with the UDOT & the Utah Highway Patrol.
The buckling exposed a large piece of rebar, causing an immediate hazard to drivers.
The freeway was repaired by UDOT crews, and all lanes were reopened by 10:15 a.m.

PEARL RIVER CO., Mississippi
The NWS issued a catastrophic flash flood emergency Thursday for Pearl River Co, and county officials said the Anchor Lake Dam is “in danger of failure.”
NWS officials said “emergency management reported the failure of Anchor Lake Dam causing flash flooding downstream on the East Hobolochitto Creek” around 3:30 p.m.
However, Pearl River emergency officials said the dam is “in danger of failure.”
On June 18, emergency officials said around 55,000 people are in the downstream path of the flooding.
Anyone bw I-59 and Caesar Road was told to evacuate to higher ground immediately.
The flash flood warning is in effect until 5:45 p.m. CDT.

VERSAILLES, Indiana
A sinkhole has formed at the intersection of U.S. 50 and SR 129 near Versailles.
Officials were called to the intersection around 4 p.m. Thursday after the sinkhole developed on EB U.S. 50.
It is located in the right turn lane and emergency lane for drivers turning on CR 400 E.
The 4-foot sinkhole was caused by a drainage culvert that was clogged up and got washed out due to the heavy rains overnight.
That area of the road will be closed off throughout the weekend until engineers can assess the situation on Monday. The rest of the roadway and SR 129 remain open.
