THE BIGGEST STORM ON EARTH JUST GOT STRONGER
What started as another tropical system has rapidly intensified into one of the most powerful storms on Earth.
Now this massive Category 4 typhoon is churning across the Pacific and drawing attention from millions of people across the region.
The storm has undergone rapid intensification and continues to organize as it moves over very warm ocean waters.
Taiwan remains in the potential path, although the exact track could still have major implications for who sees the worst conditions.
With a storm of this size and strength, even small changes can have a big impact.
Now all eyes are on this one.

85 Million Pounds of Food Destroyed in LA Cold Storage Fire.
A massive fire at a Los Angeles cold-storage facility has ruined ~10 million meals worth of food. With refrigeration offline, the spoiling inventory has become a biohazard, complicating firefighting efforts that have extended for multiple days, and prompting California to declare a state of emergency for air quality and cleanup.
Lineage Logistics, the owner of the facility, is the world's largest temperature-controlled logistics operator, and this ~491,000 sq ft hub served as a key distribution point for Greater LA, connecting to some 10 million people.
Officials claim "there will not be shortages, but localized pressure on frozen meats/poultry is possible" (which seems to be contradictory...). Events like this demonstrate why over-centralization of our food supply chain is a problem.
Oh, and the fire was started when testing a solar system on the roof. The same solar system caused a fire in 2024. Score another big win for "green energy..."

Trump just said the quiet part out loud:
"We run out of reserves in about four weeks. You know, there are reserves all over the world, and we would really run out, and there’ll be a time when you wouldn’t be able to get it.”
Everyone is talking about this "new peace deal" (even as Iran just cleared its airspace -- but sure. Even then, four weeks out!), and so little attention is being paid to the fact that we're about to have a hard landing, and all that entails for transport, agriculture, supply chains...
They've done an amazing job of hiding this by papering it over...even as oil CEOs warned and now POTUS himself acknowledges it's about to hit. I've been warning.
Grow those gardens and brace for impact...
