Footage taken by a neighbour who was up already (thank you to @amandalockey43 for capturing it!), but this was the thunderclap that woke us up at 3am!!

The whole house shook and car alarms were going off, we thought it was a b0mb! 😭

Looking at the website where you can see where lightning has struck, it hit right in the middle of our village! No wonder it was so loud!

I think like most people in the South East we’re all going to be incredibly sleepy today! 😴
